I am convinced that yoga has the power to transform lives. Hi, I am Lisa Kirk. I am located in Texas, but have lived in many states as well as overseas.
I was never much of an athlete and wasn’t raised or shown a life of regular exercise. I wasn’t born flexible and still struggle with flexibility. Yoga allowed me to keep going through modifications and variations.
I have a passion for yoga, art and nature.
Yoga has helped me through so many aspects of my life. I hope to inspire and empower others the way my yoga teachers have done for me.
I had no idea how much I needed yoga until I stopped. I had sustained an injury and stopped for awhile. I found that it affected my body and my mind. My digestive system was even affected. I kept looking back at what had changed in my life and it was definitely yoga. Yoga was that missing element. I’m not saying yoga cures all. I don’t have a magic potion for anyone.
However, I believe that yoga can be a powerful tool for anyone looking to improve their physical and mental health.
Breath awareness and alignment were some of the key aspects that helped me.
I want to help deliver these tools to you that you need to live a healthier, more balanced life.
Yoga is more than exercise to me. It’s a way of life and a journey of acceptance.
I am always refreshing my skills through workshops and courses to bring you a comfortable space on the mat where modifications and adjustments can be made.
